Your data
Privacy Policy
The short version first. Nobody signs up on this site. There is no analytics script, no ad network and no cookie set by us. A page still has to travel from a server to your screen, though, and the Start button leads into a chat that another company runs. Here is every trace, side by side.
1. Hosting and server logs
Our pages are delivered by Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. To hand a page over, Cloudflare reads the network address of your connection, works out the country behind it (and, inside the US, the state), notes the kind of browser and device, the moment of the request and the path you opened. Those details let the page arrive, let us apply the regional rules explained elsewhere on this site and keep attackers out. We never turn them into visitor profiles. How Cloudflare itself treats this information is set out in its own privacy statement.
2. What the age confirmation leaves behind
Once you confirm your age, with the Start button or the short notice on other pages, exactly one item lands in your browser's local storage, named mbws-grownup. Its content is the word "yes" followed by a timestamp. It exists so the question does not greet you on every further page, and it is honoured for 30 days: after that the page drops it and asks again. It never travels to our server and disappears sooner when you clear the stored data of this site. Since nothing else is stored and this item is needed for the age check itself, the site has no cookie banner.
3. Contact form
The contact form keeps three things: the subject you picked, what you wrote and, only if you fill it in, a return address. They land in a key-value store that is part of our Cloudflare account. No mailing service, form vendor or captcha provider sits in between. We read the notes to reply and to deal with copyright, privacy or safety matters. Twelve months after arrival each note deletes itself, and on request it goes sooner.
4. The partner chat site
No chat is built into these pages. Start opens /visit, a forwarding address on this site that passes the second tab straight on to ImLive, a live webcam site run by a company of its own; before that click your browser has no contact with it. From then on your browser talks to ImLive directly, without passing through us. ImLive sees at least your network address and some technical facts about your browser, and anything you later share there. It may set its own cookies and decides alone, under its own privacy rules, what happens to that data; we never receive any stream, sound or message. The forwarded link carries a partner code made of this domain and a single device word (iphone, android or desktop) so that the visit can be credited to us; it reveals nothing about who you are.
5. Referral link
The Start button carries a referral tag, so the other business can pay us a commission. Once you are over there, its own privacy terms, prices and age checks apply instead.
6. What you can ask of us
Ask us at any time which data about you we hold, and we will show it, fix it or erase it; you can also stop us from using it further. Californians hold these rights through the CCPA and its CPRA amendments, and comparable rules exist in a number of other US states, across the European Union and in Britain. We sell no personal information, and none of it is handed on for cross-context behavioral advertising. Using a right costs you nothing and changes nothing in how this site treats you. Write through the contact page; a reply follows within 45 days.
7. Nobody under 18
Minors are not welcome here, and we never knowingly keep information about anyone younger than 18. Tell us if a minor has written to us, and the note will be erased.
8. Changes
Should the way we treat data change, we update this page together with the date beneath the heading.
